THE FLAT-LESS TIRE FOR WHEELCHAIRS. The Marathon has become the absolute benchmark for puncture-resistant pneumatic tires on wheelchairs. The Smart Guard protection belt is made from a proportion of recycled natural rubber. The “anti-ageing“ sidewall construction can withstand typical overloading caused by low inflation pressure for much longer. A brand new extra-wide and extra-comfortable version in 28 x 559mm is now available.

FLAT-LESS.
SmartGuard puncture protected wheelchair tires combine the comfort and light running of pneumatic tires with the puncture protection of PU tires.

2GRIP.
Hand-friendly tires. The side walls are completely smooth, so the tires glide silkily past the hands. Patent protected and standard on all Schwalbe wheelchair tires.

BLACK ‘N‘ ROLL.
Wheelchairs with black tires? Schwalbe has made it possible. We developed a special Black’n Roll compound that does not leave unsightly marks on indoor floors. Additionally it is far more robust and much longer lasting.

Note: Use a pressure gauge to adjust tire pressures as the common ‘thumb check’ is insufficient due to the special construction of the Marathon Plus.

Exclusively from Schwalbe. Only tires with SmartGuard® and Smart DualGuard puncture protection can rightly call themselves "unplattbar" or "flat-less". Proven a million times over - the safest choice for bikes and e-bikes. The flat-less puncture protection even protects against thumb tacks.

SmartGuard®

Black'n'Roll

Special rubber compound for wheelchairs. Leaves no unsightly marks on indoor floors and lasts much longer than a normal grey wheelchair tire compound.

Tires gentle on the hands. The sidewall is completely smooth. The tires glide gently past the hands. This is patent-protected and standard for all Schwalbe wheelchair tires.
