NEW DUO IN CYCLOCROSS: SCHWALBE X-ONE R AND X-ONE RS
SOUPLESSE CONSTRUCTION FOR EXCELLENT RIDING COMFORT AND SAFETY
The supple Souplesse construction is the basis for Schwalbe‘s successful gravel race tires, the Schwalbe G-One R and the Schwalbe G-One RS. The developers of the tire specialist have now also transferred the state-of-the-art technology to the cyclocross sector. The result is the best tubeless tires in cyclocross: the Schwalbe X-One R and the Schwalbe X-One RS.
Souplesse construction
The Souplesse construction is the combination of the Turn-Up Super Race carcass and the V-Guard puncture protection insert. It offers the perfect mix of excellent riding comfort and safety. The two carcass layers under the tread create a unique suppleness and constantly high grip through the adaptability to the respective surface.
The three carcass layers on the sidewall give the tire a high degree of lateral stability, which is particularly evident in tight corners in cyclocross use. The result is tires that have a smooth ride, but can also be precisely controlled at low air pressures. Schwalbe‘s V-Guard material guarantees very good puncture protection.
Schwalbe X-One R: The tire of the German champions
The Schwalbe X-One R comes up with a completely new tread design, which brings the best all-round properties. The result: Improved traction in cornering sections and excellent rolling characteristics. Even the reigning German champions in cyclocross, Judith Krahl and Sascha Weber trust in it.
It is available in 33-584 and 33-622 in stores now. RRP: 74.90 €.
Schwalbe X-One RS: semi-slick for maximum speed
With the Schwalbe X-One RS, the focus is on the lowest possible rolling resistance. This is ensured by the semi-slick design, which features climbing and brake blocks on the sides. Here, too, the advantages of the new design come into their own. There has never been a faster tire in Schwalbe‘s cyclocross range.
The Schwalbe X-One RS is available in 33-622 immediately in stores. RRP: 74.90 €.
Worth knowing: The UCI prescribes the maximum tire width of 33mm – Schwalbe’s tires remain within the standard even with modern rims.
