Award with top marks: Ralf Bohle GmbH with its Schwalbe brand has been awarded the coveted “Gold” seal as a “bicycle-friendly employer”. The General German Bicycle Club (ADFC) has been awarding EU-wide certification since 2017.

The conclusion of the audit report is extremely positive: “Companies and employers live cycling culture as a business model, at work, in their free time and in the bike community. The bicycle is part of the corporate and everyday culture at Schwalbe; this becomes very clear in all fields of action and in numerous measures that have been implemented in an exemplary manner.”

Schwalbe's CSR team of four was responsible for the certification process and the audit. Schwalbe scores above average in almost all fields of work of the EU-ADFC initiative. The following points, among others, deserve special mention: 

• Employee-friendly company policy: "First clock in and then shower"  
• Modern sanitary rooms with new lockers and barrier-free showers
• Very spacious, well-equipped professional workshop
• Very spacious, bright, barrier-free bicycle garage with numerous charging options and a bicycle washing facility  
• Bike leasing (with business bike) for all employees including financial support
