Schwalbe

Clik Valve

With the new Schwalbe Clik Valve, complicated bicycle valves are a thing of the past.

Thanks to the intuitive click system, the pump head can be simply clicked onto the valve with little force and removed again after successful pumping. Operation is possible with just two fingers and is child's play!

To convert to the Schwalbe Clik Valve, we offer conversion kits for all existing bicycle valves and most pumps. Another major advantage of the Schwalbe Clik Valve is its reverse compatibility. The new valve can also be pumped with normal SV pumps.

Share of circular tires increased to 70%

We have made significant progress: From now on, 70% of all Schwalbe tires will be made with recycled carbon black (rCB).

Following the Green Marathon, the world's first tire made from used tires and other materials, we are now converting a large part of our tire range to recycled carbon black. The rCB, a direct product of our Schwalbe recycling system, completely replaces fossil-based carbon black and saves 80% CO₂eq in the process.

Thanks to this progress, our high-end tires for road, gravel, mountain, city and cargo bikes are now also becoming circular tires. Without compromising on quality or performance.

Only tires with the ADDIX Ultra Soft rubber compound and Active Line tires do not currently use rCB. Our intensive research and development work is focused on changing this in the future.

This development is not only a significant step forward for us, but also an important contribution to environmental protection and resource conservation.

Relaunch of the Schwalbe brand: The next steps

Following last year's brand relaunch, Schwalbe's latest innovations take centre stage at Eurobike, sporting their new visual identity. This marks the beginning of a comprehensive update to their product structure, implemented gradually over the coming years.

We're streamlining our entire tire range to make it easier for all customers to find the perfect fit. This means strategically optimizing the product lineup, and in some cases, merging similar models over the next few years.

THE FIRST STEP WILL BE TWO MAJOR INNOVATIONS FOR EUROBIKE 2024:
- For the first time, Schwalbe will be using the suffix "Schwalbe PRO" in its new products for the 2025 model year. The "Schwalbe PRO" line distinguishes the tires that stand for exceptional performance. It thus replaces the Evolution line, which was previously abbreviated to "Evo".

- In future, there will only be the "Schwalbe" line (formerly Active and Performance line) and the "Schwalbe PRO" line.

- Older tires are not yet affected by the change and will only be converted in the coming years.

- For the first time, the abbreviation TLR (Tubeless Ready) will be used uniformly for the new products - the abbreviation TLE will no longer appear there. no longer appears. In future, TLR will be used uniformly for all tires where we recommend tubeless use for the best performance. use for the best performance. The background to this is the new ISO standard, according to which the designation "TLR" is recommended.

IMPORTANT: The changes only apply to this year's new products and will be implemented in all other new developments in the coming years. further new developments.
