In 2018, we entered the market with a technical innovation from the Schwalbe lab – the Schwalbe Airless System. An innovative system of airless bicycle tires that did not need to be inflated.
For various reasons, demand declined after the launch: the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences, but also rapid technical progress and new Schwalbe innovations, such as our Schwalbe Pick-Up cargo bike tire, the Marathon E-Plus or our Air Plus tube.
As a result, the airless system was discontinued at the end of 2022.
