HOW IT WORKS

FUNCTIONALITY OF THE AIRMAX

MOUNTING

The TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) is simply mounted on the valve of your bike tire. In addition, you need the AIRMAX app. This is available for download in all major app stores. With the app you can set the appropriate air pressure for your front and rear wheel. If you do not know the correct tire pressure, you can calculate this individually for you with the help of the Schwalbe Pressure Prof directly in the app.

CONNECT

After you have activated the two AIRMAX sensors, make sure you have Bluetooth enabled on your smartphone. Now you can easily pair the two sensors in the AIRMAX app. Make sure you assign the correct IDs to the front and rear wheel. It's best to use the lower ID number for the front wheel and the higher one for the rear wheel.

GET STARTED

As soon as both sensors are paired, you can see in the app and from the LED light on the sensor whether the correct tire pressure is set. When the LED lights up green, you're ready to go! From now on, the two AIRMAX sensors continuously check the air pressure of your tires in real time, so you can enjoy your ride without worries. In the event of a loss of air pressure, the app warns you on your smartphone so that you can react immediately and check the cause.

A NEW WAY TO RIDE

APP INTRODUCTION

Digital support for you and your bike comes with the new Airmax and the accompanying app.

The data from the AIRMAX sensors is transferred via Bluetooth directly to your smartphone in the Airmax app. So you always know if the air pressure in your tires is still in the perfect range. Should a pressure loss occur, you will be informed immediately.

Convenient: You can calculate the right air pressure for your tire directly in the app using the Schwalbe Pressure Prof. Simply enter the various parameters there, such as tire sizes, your riding style or the surface conditions.

FAQ

You can never completely rule out a flat tire. Against the typical puncture devils such as shards or granules, however, you are very well protected with the Marathon Plus bicycle tire. With all Marathon Plus necessarily use a pressure gauge to set the air pressure. Due to the special design, a pressure test by thumb is not sufficient.

You can find all the information about mounting

With the Pressure Prof you can find your correct tire pressure and also calibrate your Airmax sensor. Once your tire pressure data (optimum, minimum and maximum air pressure) has been transferred to the sensors, your data is permanently monitored for you.

Pay attention to the following instructions: - Activate Airmax sensors (start up) - Turn on Bluetooth - Remember Airmax-Ids (see 5-digit number on sensor housing) - Ensure that the sensors are correctly assigned to the front and rear wheel. - Our recommendation: When installing the sensors, make sure that the sensor with the lower number is installed on the front wheel and the sensor with the higher number on the rear wheel.

Yes, the app can be used completely offline with the current range of features. You only need WiFi or a mobile network to download the app from the App Store.
